It’s always such a special honor for families to trust me with their life’s most precious memories and especially when it comes to their babies. I photographed this sweet family’s first baby and now I had the honor of photographing their second baby! Getting to watch my client’s beautiful family’s grow is one of the things I will never get over about this job. There is something so special about meeting all the tiny newborns and then getting to interact with them as they grow. And that’s how this session felt seeing baby Mills with his big sister, absolutely precious!

I also cannot recommend in-home newborn sessions enough for anyone wanting family newborn photos with a young toddler. Being in your own home for these photos allows you to work with your toddler’s nap schedule, provide breaks and snacks. Newborn sessions can take a little longer than a traditional portrait session so this just helps to allow time together for photos with the whole family as well as time for individual photos while siblings are happy. You can even plan for a family member to be at your home to help or care taker!
