One of the things I love most about Family photography is being able to follow families as they grow and change. Seeing newborns grow into their own unique personalities, kids growing into mini versions of their parents, and new additions such a baby brother or sister! It’s so much fun being able to document these family changes. And being new parents ourselves, it gives us so much joy being able to capture these special moments since our babies seriously grow up way too fast! Our little girl is 4 months old and I can’t believe how fast those four months went!!
And that’s why this Cazenovia family session was so much fun! Last August we had the honor of capturing Adrian and Colin’s sweet little Lila’s newborn session when we traveled back home to Central New York. And this year we just happened to be traveling back to New York during August again! So we planned a one-year family session close to where we were staying during our visit in Cazenovia, NY. We had the perfect weather, not too hot and not too cool and found two beautiful locations literally back to back with one another!
We started their Cazenovia family session at the Lorenzo Historic Site which seriously had the most beautiful flower garden and wooded trails. And it could not have been more perfect for little miss Lila since she just loved all the flowers!! Maybe the cameras were not too fascinating but just pick her a flower and you have her attention! Oh and the rocks were pretty cool too lol!! As we neared sunset we made our way next door to Empire Farm Brewery so Lila could walk around the hops & barley fields. And not a bad place to end the session for Mom and Dad too for dinner and drinks!!
Adrian & Colin, thank you for allowing us to capture your beautiful family again! We always love seeing the two of you and little miss Lila! She is just beautiful!!! Enjoy some of our favorites from your session!
