Let me just start by saying morning sessions are my absolute favorite during South Carolina summers, right around sunrise! It’s so much cooler, quiet, and less crowded! Basically the perfect time for a family session since kids wake up super early anyway!

Devan and Ryan chose Furman University for their family photos. And since their son Ryker was about 11 months old and up bright and early, a morning session was the perfect time to keep everyone nice and cool. Wait until you see how adorable Ryker is, he is little natural in front of the camera always looking right at us!! And his outfits are seriously making me want a little boy to dress up!

This family session was special to us for a couple of reasons …1) Devan and Ryan were one of our first wedding couples when we moved to South Carolina. 2) There was a very special announcement planned during this session! When Devan reached out to us to capture their beautiful family we couldn’t wait to finally meet Ryker and then Devan mentioned that they would like to capture an announcement for Ryker becoming a big brother …YAY!!!!
