Spartanburg Engagement Session | Spartanburg, South Carolina

I can’t tell you how happy this Spartanburg engagement session makes me! Maybe because we had the most perfect warm day in December that I can remember or some of the most beautifully coordinated outfits I have ever seen. But the real reason is because I didn’t think this session was ever going to happen. Rachel attended two of our past couples weddings and reached out to us in hopes that we would be able to capture their wedding but our dates just weren’t working out. However, this sweet bride kept changing her wedding date in hopes that something would work out! And then, almost five date changes later, it finally did! The best happy dance when I saw her message and knew we were going to be able to capture their special day after all!!!

We captured Rachel and Tanner’s engagement photos at three different locations in Spartanburg. We normally recommend no more than two locations for a shoot but everything was super close together so it worked out perfectly! We started their session at their home to get a few shots with their fur babies and then headed to the DuPre House where Tanner had previously proposed to Rachel. These two have been involved in the restoration of this beautiful historic home and were able to share so many fun facts about the home’s history! I love all things historic so this was a special treat to not only see this home but also capture their photos there!

Our last stop was downtown Spartanburg, SC where we just enjoyed exploring Morgan Square while enjoying that golden glow as the sun set on this gorgeous December day!
