Peyton and Dustin’s fine art mountain engagement session was a dream! The colors in the sky, the fog rolling up the mountain and the cool autumn air, it was absolutely magical and the perfect location to celebrate and capture their engagement photos. Especially since their first date was in Boone, NC where Peyton was born. If anyone has ever been to Boone you know it’s absolutely beautiful and has all the gorgeous mountain views as well. So trails around this mountain was just what they needed to document this special time in their life and still enjoy one of their favorite hobbies together, hiking! And by the way, not only did they hike this trail to the top but Peyton did it in her gorgeous dress and heels!

Getting to document memories like these and being invited to capture some of the biggest life moments is something that I will always cherish and never take for granted. I’m so thankful for the friendships we continue to make along the way and hope that not only will these photos bring back all the feelings from this moment in time but that the experience will be something that brings a smile and joy as well.

I have so many favorites from this session and can’t thank these two enough for being so adventurous to capture these photos! It has me so excited for their wedding next year and all the memories we get to continue documenting for Peyton and Dustin! I cannot wait to see these two start their life together!
