My photography style is all about simplicity, light soft colors and connection. Simplicity, because I want the focus to be on you and your family and I don’t want anything distracting from that. If there is great light there is no need to move from location to location. Light soft colors, because if you are drawn to my work chances are you also love my light and airy look. And while I never change the way I edit or shoot when you wear darker colors your images will look darker as well. I also find light soft colors and neutrals to be much more flattering on skin tones.

And lastly and most importantly, connection. Trusting me with your family memories is not something I take for granted and I want to showcase your love for one another and the unique personality and connection you share. This means I will still document that must have photo where everyone is looking at the camera but what I love documenting is everyone interacting. I want you to embrace your little ones in hugs, play their favorite games, tickle them, and just have fun. Don’t ever be discouraged when you think they are not cooperating or get frustrated and upset. Instead smile at them through it all, continue to make the session fun for them and remember that your their to document the memories for this stage of life and that stage is not always perfect.
