What I love most about living in a location with 4 seasons is the unique look it adds to photos depending on the month of your session. I personally love documenting photos in every season and I encourage families to switch it up. Try different seasons out. If you traditionally gravitate towards fall season, try a spring session. Or if you have always had summer sessions, try out a winter session.

This particular session was a late fall session in December and I love the earthy tones of the grass mixed with the remaining colors of the fall leaves. I think it’s so pretty paired with sweaters and clothing layers and those cooler temperatures make for the best reasons to snuggle close together and keep warm!

You may also notice that this sweet little boy brought his Tigey to their family session. And while we typically avoid including toys or pacifiers mom and dad agreed that Tigey could definitely be a part of their session as their sweet boy does not go anywhere without him! So I love that we included him because my goal is to always document your family in the most authentic way and I want you to look back on your memories and remember this stage life just as it is!
