We originally were supposed to document these sweet memories around Winnie’s first birthday but ended up rescheduling the session until the new year. And since Winnie is much more active now that she is well past her first birthday we decided on splitting this session to still include a studio session as planned but also some moments outside to let her run around and get all the energy out!

Well I’m so glad we did because I just love this combination of those classic studio portraits while also incorporating the gorgeous spring greens and morning sunshine. And sweet Winnie was just full of personality! Those eyes of hers are just as beautiful as I remember from her sitter session but seeing her curiosity and independence was such a treat to document this time. She was so interested in my camera, it was just the cutest!
