That six to eight months age for babies is still my absolute favorite and this sweet Greenville baby milestone photography session is all you need to see why I love this age so much! I know it can be easy to skip right over this age when planning professional photos. You prioritize the newborn session and then start planning for their first birthday but let me tell you why you don’t want to miss this age for photos!

By six months old your baby has grown and changed so much from those early newborn days! Those sweet cheeks have filled out and that gummy smile has replaced those early sleepy days. I plan these six to eight month sessions once your baby can sit unassisted on their own and this alone is a huge milestone to document!

So when you skip doing a 6-8 month baby milestone session sometimes you miss those early gummy smiles before teeth. Babies are also on the move the older they get, which is a precious milestone all on it’s own but it also means they are less interested in sitting for photos and smiling. They would much rather be on the move and checking everything out! And more than anything, that first year goes by why too fast and you can’t get it back no matter how much you want to slow it all down. I promise you will never be disappointed to have all the memories from this special time but you may absolutely regret not having them!
