A 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel Wedding in Clayton, New York

First of all Jennie and Drew could not have had more perfect weather for their Labor Day weekend wedding. I couldn’t believe it when I was checking the weather the week before their wedding … three days of blue sky and sun in the mid 70’s! If  you grew up around Central New York like me then you know that three perfect days like this and especially during Labor Day weekend is a pretty rare thing! And to top it off Jennie and Drew were getting married at the picturesque 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel nestled along the St. Lawrence River which also meant a weekend of gorgeous sunsets and walks along the river edge!

We knew we loved Jennie and Drew from their engagement session! The word genuine comes to mind when I think of both of them …genuinely caring, joyful and fun! And they genuinely celebrated their love surrounded by their closest family and friends in the 1000 Islands which is also where they had their first date! It feels like we have known Jennie and Drew forever, we have loved our time getting to know them and one of my favorite parts of the day was watching them interact with their family. They chose a small wedding party with just their closest family and Drew’s kids who made the cutest flower girl and ring bearer. I love their love for each other!

Their 1000 Islands Harbor Hotel wedding was perfect! I have so many favorite moments from the day but I loved watching Jennie and her family interact while she was getting ready. Wine with a straw was a critical part of the getting ready process and Jennie’s Grandma getting her makeup done was just the cutest! Another favorite of mine was watching Drew on the dance floor with his kids … I absolutely love that they were such a big part of the day for Jennie and Drew. And of course the dancing never stopped, such an incredible celebration that I am starting to think has a little something to do with “knee sweat” LOL jk Drew! Congratulations you two!!

Jennie and Drew had the most amazing team of vendors working with them to make their day a reality. The florals, the planning, the venue, the DJ, the decor … everything was perfect!
