A Summer Sunrise Falls Park Engagement | Greenville, South Carolina

When we met Stephanie and Mike over coffee we knew we were going to love working with these two! We could talk to these two forever and instantly felt like we have known them for years! And when we got to chatting about how Mike proposed to Stephanie we knew that we had to capture their engagement photos in downtown Greenville’s Falls Park!

Hearing Stephanie and Mike recount their engagement story had us laughing … not because it wasn’t the one of a kind special love story but because the way Mike described his well thought out location and plan. You see there is nothing we love more than hearing the proposal story from the Groom-to-be because it seems to always involve some type of nerves trying to plan the perfect moment and then something always seems to come in the way of those plans! In Mike’s case he had the perfect bench picked out in Falls Park with the perfect view … and then … there was the couple that took the bench!!! Now Mike’s plan had to change and he needed to find a new bench … and of course one with a view! Long story short he did find another perfect bench and we were even able to capture some photos there during our session!

Another reason these two are pretty awesome is because they trusted us when we told them a sunrise session was the way to go for Falls Park in the summer months even though this would require them to meet us at 6:30AM! But let me tell you, I’m so glad they decided to go for it because not only did we have the park to ourselves but we also beat the crazy hot South Carolina heat of the summer and capture some really beautiful light!

This shoot was pretty perfect and I can’t wait to show you my favorites! Stephanie and Mike are one fun couple and we can’t wait for more fun on their wedding next February! They are going to have one beautiful wedding! ENJOY!!
