Hazelwood Spring Blossom Family Session | Spartanburg, South Carolina Family Photographer

Let me just start by saying it was only about 45 degrees or so outside when we photographed this family session! When Kendra and I started planning their family session the weather was gradually warming up so sundresses for the girls and shorts for her husband were perfect! But thank you South Carolina for always changing things up on us and throwing us another cold spell. And if you have ever planned outfits for a photo session …let alone your whole family you know you don’t go and change things after taking the time to coordinate the perfect look! But even though we needed the blanket a few times and some family snuggles to keep warm you would have never known it was so cold!

One of the things I love most about this family session? Kendra is also a photographer here in South Carolina! After following her beautiful work it was so great to finally meet her in person and even better to get to meet her beautiful family! I love that Kendra and her husband Gary make family photos and even couple sessions together a priority. Life can get crazy but taking just a couple hours to smile, laugh and just have fun as a family all while someone documents these moments is so important! And more importantly, as a parent myself, kids grow up on us way too fast so being able to freeze these moments to enjoy for life is just the best!
