A South Wind Ranch Wedding | Travelers Rest, South Carolina

This year I had full intentions of taking the months of July and August off from shooting weddings unless it was a destination somewhere cooler than South Carolina! That was until I started talking to Morgan when she reached out to have us capture their wedding day! I just knew that Morgan and Alex were a perfect fit for us and I couldn’t say no to their August wedding … even if it is one of the hottest months around here! Instead I figured we could just pack a little extra water!!!

Gosh I’m so glad we made that decision! Morgan and Alex are two of the kindest most genuine people we have ever met. They felt like friends from the moment we started their engagement shoot! So the only thing better than getting to capture and experience their wedding day with them was getting to do it alongside their closest family and friends! These two are so loved!

Another reason I am so excited to share Morgan and Alex’s gorgeous wedding day is because of their beautiful wedding venue, South Wind Ranch in Travelers Rest, SC. Morgan and Alex’s venue is new this year and seriously stunning! Wait until you see the beautiful grounds! We had the best time capturing Morgan and Alex’s portraits. There are so many beautiful options to choose from. From the pond surrounded by trees, the white barn, and my personal favorite the hill overlooking the mountains! It’s a beauty, thank you for showing us all around Ron!

Congratulations Morgan and Alex! We couldn’t be happier for the two of you and your life journey together. It may have rained right before your ceremony but I don’t think you could have asked for a more perfect day. From your sweet hand written vows, to including your sweet dog Fenway, and of course Morgan’s father daughter dance, it was the best! We love you two!
