I’m so excited to share this downtown Greer SC newborn session with you! Remember that beautiful downtown Greer maternity session I documented in December? Well I finally got to meet that sweet little boy who was in his mommy’s tummy and it was absolutely worth the wait! I have so many favorites from this in home session but just wait until you see all the sweet stretches baby Michael showed off. They just melt my heart. I can’t believe I get to call this my job because I could soak up all this newborn sweetness for days!

One of the things I get asked a lot about planning your newborn session is the timing. Client’s want to pick the best time so they get all the sleepy photos and maybe some awake ones as well. I share all this information in the planning guides I send over a month before your due date but the thing I like to always stress is that each and every baby is unique with their own personality. Some babies will sleep their whole session, some stay awake and others mix it up with a little of each! Some babies are also very comfortable stretching out and being unwrapped like baby Michael and others prefer being swaddled up tight. I prefer not to push babies because I always want to session to be natural and represent your individual baby!
