Wondering what you should expect during a family session with young children? My advice is to go into your session with an open mind. Toddlers and young children are completely unpredictable and that is okay, I know this so there is absolutely nothing to worry about. My biggest advice is that evening when they are having a meltdown or maybe feeling a little shy just do what you would normally do, comfort them, love them and play with them. What I love most when it comes to documenting family sessions is freezing real moments with your family. This means not looking at the camera but looking into the eyes of your children, playing with them and loving on them. Let me be the one to document the moments and my hope is you can just enjoy some family time while I do it!
