There is just something about newborn sessions that just tugs on my heart a little more than any other photos that I have ever had documented in my life. And yes, even wedding photos. I think it’s because once you have a baby it’s almost like a little piece of your heart is now outside of your body. Your heart is forever changed until maybe you add another sweet baby in your family and then another piece of your heart is tugged outside your body.

Whatever it is, that feeling is a little scary but also the most amazing feeling ever. Scary, because you don’t want to make a mistake and you are trying to figure out how you can love this sweet baby of yours so much already when you just met them. But it happens and it’s so beautiful. It’s what makes me smile everytime I get to document a newborn session. There is nothing like being able to witness this beauty over and over again and to be a part of freezing these memories for your family.
