Baby Zoey Newborn Session | Greenville Studio Newborn Photography

I’m so excited to share baby Zoey’s studio newborn session! We planned this right in the sweet 8-12 day mark after she was born and she did so well. Baby girl slept through her whole session and we documented so many precious moments with her mom and dad and all those little curled up newborn positions.

One of the things I love about newborn sessions is seeing how alike and different each and every baby is. While babies enjoy many of the same positions they absolutely all have their own preference for comfort and little Zoey loves her arms up while sleeping.

Another big part of my newborn sessions is always documenting your baby in positions that are natural. This means I will wrap them and position them but I will also let your baby stretch and move around to find their comfort and what feels best. I don’t use many props because what I love most is using mom and dad whether it’s their hands, a finger or just snuggled in their arms. Documenting the family connection is so important.
