This was one of the first years I did not offer fall mini sessions. And I know that so many people gravitate to them and want them with young kids. You are afraid of a long session and fear your little one is not going to last. But let me tell you why I don’t love them. Instead of a relaxed session without a time crunch you only have a set time and during that time mom and dad are usually trying to get the picture perfect shot before the session is over. There is less room for play and children typically don’t fully warm up and get comfortable until the session is just about over.

But with a full family session we have time to move around, we have time to play games and time to document your family’s story. It allows for the silly moments, reflective moments and all the joyful moments in between. If little ones need a break we can absolutely give them one and still document so many memories. It gives me the time to connect with your little ones so I can document their true personality.

This beautiful family session is everything I love about full family sessions. There were games played, lots of running, sweet snuggles and all the precious moments together as a family. Enjoy some of my favorites from this fall family session near the mountains!
