Let me tell you about those first few weeks at home with your new baby. When you are in the middle of them they sometimes feel tough and you feel like you might never sleep again and the days just sort of blend together. It’s easy to forget the last time you showered and what day it is. But these days are also some of the most incredible days you ever experience. Part of the reason you are so tired is because you can’t stop watching your baby and wondering how this sweet amazing baby is yours and a part of you (even when you know you should be napping). And this new feeling in your heart is something you have never felt before. It’s a whole new feeling of love for someone you have never experienced before and it also scares you because of how much you love them.

This is my reason and why for newborn photos. This time is so fleeting and these memories are something you will want to hold on to forever. You can’t go back but you can always have these moments to look back on and share together for a lifetime.
