Baby Audrey 10 Month Milestone Session | Studio Baby Photography Greer SC

When planning a baby milestone session, I often recommend 6–8 months or around your baby’s first birthday. These are two of my favorite stages to photograph during the first year.

Around 6–8 months, many babies begin sitting on their own. This is perfect for sweet portraits that show their growing personality. Around their first birthday, babies may be crawling, standing, or even taking their first steps. I also love adding a simple cake smash to first birthday sessions!

But there is truly no wrong time to photograph your baby during the first year. After the newborn stage, every few months bring something new. From tummy time and sitting to crawling and standing, each milestone is worth remembering.
