Have you ever wondered the best age for these classic children’s heirloom portraits? My favorite age is about 6-8 months, when your baby is sitting unassisted on their own through about 8 years of age. And honestly I love these portraits so much I will likely continue documenting my kids beyond 8 years old but I think if you have the ability to choose this is a great age range. You can even choose to update these portraits as your child grows. I like to update my own kids every year or so and find it so sweet to see how much they have grown and changed!
