There is something so special about documenting a new baby at home. Those first few weeks are full of quiet moments you wish you could hold onto forever.

Sweet baby Eleanor’s newborn session was filled with so much love. As first-time parents, her mom and dad were completely smitten with their little girl. She was happiest tucked into their arms, making for some of my favorite images.

Her beautiful nursery was the perfect backdrop. A hand-painted mural of trees covered the wall, while soft natural light filled the room. We captured all those tiny details that change far too quickly—from her little fingers and toes to the soft wisps of her hair.

That is what I love about in-home newborn sessions. There is no need to rush. We simply slow down and preserve this sweet season exactly as it is.
