Welcoming a new baby into a family with older siblings is such a sweet season to document. This Simpsonville SC Family Newborn Session was all about baby Luke and these first days together as a family of five. With big sisters Eleanor and Jo nearby, we let the morning unfold naturally, making time for the whole family together, quiet moments with mom and dad, and of course all of those tiny newborn details that change far too quickly.

I especially love photographing families at home because there is no need for everything to be perfectly still or perfectly planned. The girls could come and go, cuddle their new baby brother, and simply be themselves. The result is a collection of photographs that feels warm, connected, and true to this season of their family. I hope these images will become even more meaningful as the years pass.
